This piece came from a place of experimentation rather than inteniton. Instead of refining or limiting myself, i let the surface fill up, stitch by stitch and colour by colour. the work is layered, busy, and intentionally unresolved. elements repeat, overlap, and interrupt one another, creating movement rather than a clear focal point, while still maintaining a sense of unity. the rug becomes a space for trying things out, pushing materials, and sitting with uncertainty
