يستحضر هذا العمل الورد الطائفي بعد انقضاء موسمه؛ لا في ذروة تفتحه، ولا في لحظة ذبوله الأولى، بل في المرحلة التي يليها الصمت. طبقات لونية هادئة ومتآكلة، تشبه الورد حين يجفّ ويحتفظ بعطره في الذاكرة لا في الجسد This work evokes the Taif rose after its season has ended; not at the height of its bloom, nor in its first moment of fading, but in the stage that follows silence.
