Pre-pixel, 2026

‏Pre-Pixel is a wall artwork composed entirely of thousands of vintage "Cat's Eye" glass marbles. It serves as a visual archive of the last universal language of childhood .. a time when play was tangible and connection was physical, spanning cultures across the globe. ‏The work uses a simple, universal object as its language. These marbles were a shared childhood ritual across the world ‏Conceptually, Pre-Pixel is about the end of that era. It marks the transition from tactile, physical play to a world where the dominant playground became the screen, where the pixel replaced the marble. هو عمل جداري يتشكل من آلاف الكرات الزجاجية الكلاسيكية (المصاقيل - عين القط). يقف العمل بمثابة أرشيف بصري لآخر لغة عالمية موحدة للطفولة؛ تلك الحقبة التي كان اللعب فيها ملموساً، والتواصل حسياً ومادياً عابراً للحدود والثقافات. يوظف العمل هذا العنصر البسيط والعالمي (الكرة الزجاجية) كلغة بصرية، مستحضراً طقوساً طفولية تشاركتها شعوب العالم أجمع. ومن الناحية المفاهيمية، يوثق "ما قبل البكسل" لحظة أُفول ذلك العصر، راصداً التحول الجذري من اللعب المادي المحسوس إلى عالم استحوذت فيه الشاشات على ساحات اللعب، وحل فيه "البكسل" الرقمي محل "الكرة" الزجاجية.
