This painting took two months to complete. It started by accident—random black marks mixed with light and dark purples. I liked the beginning, but the canvas felt empty, especially the background. When I added rose-gold squares, something clicked. It was fascinating, but still not enough. I left the painting for a while and came back asking how I could make it feel richer and more valuable. I began inventing colors—mixing unusual combinations and placing them carefully. Whenever I created something I loved, I avoided painting over it and focused on other areas instead. The process stayed alive through constant color invention and response until the painting finally became what it is now.
