Same Same, Not Fair - No.4 (Limited edition of three), 2026

This work questions the myth that fairness means sameness. When everyone is given the exact same treatment, the result can still be unequal because people don’t start from the same place, carry the same needs, or face the same constraints. Equality can be a blunt instrument: it looks just, but it can quietly exclude, flatten, and disable. The piece argues for a more honest idea of justice, one that doesn’t worship uniformity, but recognizes difference as real, and designs care around it.
