The Illusion of Shadow - وهم الظل, 2026

The work presents tree branches transforming into translucent shadows, closer to memory than to a fixed form. The elements appear like an old photograph, developed through light, not documenting a moment but evoking its sensation. Using the cyanotype technique, light becomes a medium of time, and the blue tone turns into a space between presence and absence—where the trace endures longer than the object itself.يمثّل العمل أغصان شجر تتحوّل إلى ظلال شفافة، أقرب إلى ذاكرة منها إلى شكل ثابت. تظهر العناصر وكأنها صورة قديمة، مُحمّضة بالضوء، لا توثّق اللحظة بقدر ما تستدعي إحساسها. باستخدام تقنية السانوتايب، يصبح الضوء وسيطاً للزمن، وتتحوّل الزرقة إلى مساحة بين الحضور والغياب، حيث يظلّ الأثر أطول من الشيء نفسه.
